Are you feeling stuck, personally or professionally....or worse...BOTH?
You’ve got hopes. Dreams. Ambitions.
Things you want to do.
Places you want to see.
People you want to meet.
An idea of how you want your life to be.
BUT. At the moment they’re NOTHING more than hopes, dreams, and ideas. AND you’re holding yourself back from making any of it REALITY.
You feel stuck. Lost. Paralysed by options. You know things need to change but you don’t even know where to start. And more importantly, you know that what needs to change is you.
You’ve realised that the only thing standing in your way is yourself. Your lack of confidence. Your self-doubt. Your lack of action. Your anxiety around others. Your comparisonitis. Your fear of not succeeding. Your fear of lack of security. Your fear of the judgement of other people. Your fear of not being good enough.
You’ve read the self-help books but not actually done any of the work the self-help books recommend you do (and therefore not seen any results, either). You may have even dabbled in therapy before, and whilst it’s been helpful at making you feel a little better, you’re still not actually moving forward.
Above all, you’re tired. Enough is enough.
Believe me, I know what it’s like to not feel good enough, it was the story of my life...
That was, until I realised it was just a story.
For years I struggled with low confidence. I was constrained by rules of what I thought would be possible and impossible for me. I’d hear of women going travelling by themselves and I’d say ‘I couldn’t do that!’ Networking events I avoided like the plague. I’d look at others’ and be amazed at what they were achieving and wondered what they had that I didn’t. And the idea of running my own business was just an absolute NO.
But this wasn’t how I wanted my life to be. I didn’t want my life to be ordinary. I wanted bigger, brighter, better things. I wanted to have my own business, travel the world, and feel confident wherever I went.
So I dedicated myself to learning how to become the person I wanted to be, so that I could create the life I wanted to live. And now I coach women like you who want the same for themselves.
I learnt how to achieve things that I didn’t think were possible for me, and now it’s no surprise that, after working with me, this is what most of my clients end up doing too.
And trust me, I’m not someone who came from a well-off family, I wasn’t lucky, and I didn’t have some hidden ace up my sleeve. In fact, I came from a working class family and grew up in a socio-economically deprived area (ie. chav-town) in the UK. I was bullied at school for being the only kid in class who didn’t wear branded trainers because we couldn’t afford it, and I’ve even tried hypnotherapy to help me boost my confidence.
The turning point came when my university boyfriend dumped me not long after we moved to London. I had very little to show for myself, in terms of hobbies, friends, skills and so on. I realised that I needed to create a life. A life I love.
Using my 'love life plan' template (download your free copy here) I designed my ideal life and started putting it all in place.
But I knew that the person I was back then, couldn't achieve the things I wanted to achieve. I knew I'd have to change. I just had to figure out how to become the person I needed to be in order to have the life I wanted.
So I invested a lot of time and money into my personal growth (over £20,000 so far). And when a chance-opportunity arose for me to go and work onboard cruise ships, I took it. I'd realised that there had got to be more to life than sitting at a desk for 40 hours a week. I also went travelling through South America by myself, in order to overcome my social anxiety.
I distinctly remember at one point when I was planning my trip, closing down my laptop in frustration thinking 'don't be stupid, you can't pull off something like this!' Five minutes later I reopened my laptop thinking, if someone else has done it, then I can too. I booked it, and off I went (in floods of tears and fears, yes, but I did it! And I've never looked back.)
Fast forward a couple of years and I've achieved things I didn't think I ever could. I've managed to overcome my limiting beliefs and become the person I wanted to be. So when I decided to start my own business, it was obvious that helping others to achieve the same in their own lives was the gift that I could offer. I returned to London, trained professionally as a coach, and here I am now, living a life I love whilst coaching others to do the same.
Don’t get me wrong – it's not always easy and my life isn't always perfect. I still have doubts, fears, and difficulties from time to time. I just know how to not let them stop me.
